Google Ads for private investigators

A campaign for bug, hidden camera and GPS tracker detection services. Visibility for searches about specialist inspections for businesses and individuals.

Performance and visibility

00 / Starting situation

SpySearch helps businesses and individuals check offices, meeting locations, homes and vehicles for listening devices, hidden cameras and GPS trackers. It sells a specialist service whose selection requires trust in the provider and their discretion. On Google, the offer competes for attention with searches about buying devices and detecting threats independently. The campaign aims to reach people considering a professional inspection and make it easier for them to get in touch.

02 / SCOPE

An offer for people seeking a specialist

We manage Google Ads for SpySearch, a company specialising in the detection of listening devices, hidden cameras and GPS trackers. The campaigns support the acquisition of jobs from businesses and individuals, reaching people seeking specialist help.

In March–August 2026, the main campaign achieved 84.5% of impressions among the top ads on Google, including 58.4% in the first advertising position. The SpySearch offer was displayed where people begin reviewing available service providers.

03 / MAIN CHALLENGE

A service that requires trust

SpySearch provides confidentiality protection services: inspections of offices, meeting locations, homes and vehicles. For businesses, the security of conversations and business information may be at stake. Communication needs to demonstrate the provider’s competence, discretion and the option to commission a professional inspection.

At the same time, searches relating to listening devices include buying equipment, apps and detecting threats independently. With advertising spend of approximately PLN 1,900 per month, it was important to direct ads towards needs aligned with the service offer and make contact easier for people considering specialist help.

04 / EXPERTISE

From a search to booking an inspection

We based the campaign on the detection of listening devices, cameras and trackers, and on counter-surveillance. Exclusions for searches relating to, among other things, purchases on Allegro and bug detection software limit ad delivery for needs that diverge from the company’s offer.

In the ads, we combined the service name, location and on-site availability with messages about professional audits, discretion, and the protection of privacy and business. Calls to phone and book an audit indicate a specific next step. Visitors reach a website presenting the inspection scope and the process of working together.

Visibility covered specific service searches, including those containing a city name. In March–August 2026, the main campaign achieved:

06 / EXPERTISE

Why ad position matters

In this industry, a prominent ad position is crucial: customers generally do not know how to compare providers or assess the quality of their equipment and methods. SpySearch stands out through its professional approach and strong technical resources, but first it needs to become one of the providers a customer considers. Visibility among the top ads gives the company an opportunity to present these strengths and win the customer’s confidence in a direct conversation.

07 / GOAL AND KPIS

From searching for a service to speaking with a specialist

For SpySearch, we select indicators that show the successive steps towards commissioning a specialist service.

Visits from service searches

Clicks on searches for bug, camera and tracker detection show interest in the offer in a specific context. They help assess search term selection and spending priorities.

Enquiries about an inspection

Phone and form enquiries about the service scope help assess the move from browsing the offer to speaking with the provider. A phone click signals interest; the conversation establishes the actual need.

Enquiries that lead to a booking

The number and cost of relevant enquiries, and their progression to a booked inspection, help connect the campaign with service sales. These are selected business evaluation measures; the results presented document visibility and clicks, without attributing a number of acquired jobs to them.
