Brand and sales strategy BiA Studio

Strategies and analyses for an architectural office

Strategic documentation connecting the positioning of an architecture studio with offer development, sales and additional directions for building revenue.

Strategy, brand and conversion

00 / Starting situation

BiA Studio is an architecture studio with experience, a broad range of capabilities and a body of completed work. The documentation was intended to organise how the value of collaboration is presented and identify possible directions for developing the brand, offer and sales.

01 / SCOPE

Business architecture needs a design too

For BiA Studio, we developed a competitive and market environment analysis, a business strategy and service sales strategies. We connected the studio’s positioning with an idea for developing its offer: from choosing target audiences and purchase arguments to additional revenue streams.

02 / MAIN CHALLENGE

A portfolio shows the result. Not the whole value

BiA Studio had experience, a broad range of capabilities and a substantial body of completed work. The strategy’s task was to translate these strengths into clear reasons for choosing the studio and opportunities for business development.

A portfolio shows the result of an architect’s work. An investor also needs to understand who will guide them through decisions, formalities and implementation. We therefore looked for a positioning that combined design quality with value felt during the collaboration: a sense of security, clear communication and less organisational burden.

03 / MARKET AND COMPETITION

We did not look only at competitors' projects

We analysed how competing studios build recognition, justify the value of their services and expand their activities. We compared those findings with the market situation and the needs of business, individual and institutional clients.

04 / POSITIONING

The pair of founders are not a detail

On that basis, we proposed a positioning for BiA Studio that combined care for the investor with the authority of an experienced team. We deliberately used the duo of Dominika and Gaweł as a brand differentiator. Their experience, collaboration and bond were intended to build recognition for the studio and trust in the people behind its projects. The founders’ personal brands thus became part of the BiA Studio strategy.

05 / OFFER DEVELOPMENT

One investment, more than one need

We translated this defined role of the brand into proposals for developing the offer. We identified opportunities to extend collaboration to support before purchasing a property, investment coordination or turnkey delivery. Each of these services addressed another investor problem and created a basis for increasing the value of an engagement.

REBRANDY

Before marketing starts, it helps to know where it is going

07 / SALES

Not everything has to be sold on the website

We also defined the website’s role in the sales process. Public communication was intended to build credibility and prepare the client for a conversation, while a significant part of sales would take place in a direct relationship with the client. This made it possible to plan extensions of the collaboration around the needs of a specific investment while maintaining consistency with the studio’s expert image.

08 / FURTHER DIRECTIONS

Growth does not have to end with more projects

We also developed directions for partnerships with property intermediaries, contractors and suppliers that could support client acquisition and the sale of complementary services. We included opportunities to diversify revenue through ready-made projects and educational products. These recommendations gave the studio concrete development scenarios to choose from.

09 / RESULT

The strategy was meant to create options, not one prescription

BiA Studio received documentation connecting brand decisions with principles for building the offer and sales. It defined which audiences to address, how to justify the value of collaboration and how to develop revenue around the studio’s capabilities.

This created a foundation for subsequent decisions about marketing, the website and partnerships. The owners could consider these investments in the context of a shared business direction and a planned role for the brand.
